Raluca is a free movie and TV discovery app operated at raluca.pro. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, why it's collected, and what rights you have.

We wrote this in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@raluca.pro.

What we collect directly

Nothing. Raluca has no user accounts, no sign-in, no comment system, and no analytics tags that identify you personally. You can browse the entire site without giving us any information.

What our hosting provider logs

Raluca is hosted on Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel records standard request information whenever you load a page:

• Your IP address
• The page you requested and the URL that referred you
• Your browser type and operating system
• The date and time of the request

These logs are kept short-term by Vercel to detect abuse, protect the service, and troubleshoot errors. See Vercel's privacy policy for details on how they handle logs.

Country detection for streaming links

On movie and series detail pages, we show which streaming platforms offer the title in your country. We read your country from a header that our hosting provider derives from your IP address. We do not store your IP or country — the detection happens once per request and is discarded when the page is sent to you.

Third-party services we use

Raluca pulls movie and TV data from The Movie Database (TMDB). TMDB does not know who you are when you browse Raluca — the requests are made from our server, not your browser.

Where applicable, our pages embed content from third parties:

• YouTube — when you click "Play trailer," a YouTube video is embedded from youtube.com. YouTube may set its own cookies and collect data per Google's privacy policy.
• JustWatch (via TMDB) — "Where to watch" chips link to JustWatch. Their policy is at justwatch.com/us/privacy-policy.
• Streaming platforms — clicking through to Netflix, Prime Video, etc. is governed by their own privacy policies.

Cookies and local storage

Raluca does not set any cookies of its own. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally for the installable web app (PWA) features — this data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Children

Raluca is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, but especially not from children.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Because we don't have your email, we can't notify you individually — please check back if it matters to you.
